«Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches» is the album by Happy Mondays, released in 1990 by London Records on CD.
The album is a showcase of Happy Mondays' Madchester sound: indie guitars, funk basslines, dance rhythms and a carefree attitude. Shaun Ryder's voice shines on tracks like «Kinky Afro» and «Step On», anthems of the 1990 British scene, with psychedelic energy, streetwise humour and catchy choruses.
It is Happy Mondays' third studio album, produced by Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne; the CD contains ten songs.
For fans of indie and British pop rock of the nineties, especially those who enjoy the Madchester scene and the sound of rave culture.
