«Piano Sonatas (Complete)» is the album by composer Dmitri Kabalevsky, performed by Alexandre Dossin, released in 2009 by Naxos on CD.
The CD brings together Kabalevsky's three piano sonatas —No. 1 in F major, Op. 6; No. 2 in E-flat major, Op. 45; No. 3 in F major, Op. 46— and the two sonatinas Op. 13. Sonata No. 2 stands out for its virtuosity, while Sonatina No. 1 reflects Prokofiev's influence and Sonata No. 3 has a bittersweet tone and a neoclassical style.
