«Perfect Blues» is a various-artists compilation, released in 2000 by Past Perfect, on CD.
A compilation bringing together 23 original jazz and blues recordings from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s, with restored sound that removes noise and crackle from old records. Includes classics such as «Fine and Mellow» by Billie Holiday, «Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out» by Bessie Smith and «Potato Head Blues» by Louis Armstrong.
Compiled by Hugh Palmer and digitally remastered by Ted Kendall; the booklet includes notes in English about the artists.
For fans of classic jazz and blues from the 1920s to the 1940s and for anyone wanting a nostalgic background soundtrack.
