«Peppermint Candy» is a various-artists swing compilation, released in 2011 as a double CD.
A two-CD compilation tracing the history of swing with danceable tracks, from the 1920s to today's electro swing. It bridges the atmosphere of 1930s Harlem with the present, featuring classics like Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald alongside Andre 3000 and Imelda May.
The edition is from the UK, and the compilation shares its name with the Broken Hearts Jazz FM radio show, also called Peppermint Candy.
Aimed at lovers of vintage culture and swing dancing, with danceable selections from yesterday and today.
