«Passione Amorosa» is the classical music album by Ensemble Le Virtuose Romantique, released in 1990 by Harmonia Mundi, on CD.
It brings together chamber music pieces with a romantic and virtuoso character, combining composers such as Fritz Kreisler, Giovanni Bottesini and George Gershwin with less frequent ones (Dinicu, Clarke, Martinů). The ensemble includes violin, double bass, cornet and piano, with collaborations on trombone and clarinet.
Single-CD album; the back cover bears the code HMC 905209 and the Harmonia Mundi France label, based in Arles (France).
Aimed at fans of classical chamber music and romantic repertoire with a virtuoso touch.
