«Passion of Percussion Vol. 2» is the folk and country album by Turkish musician Yaşar Akpençe, released in 2004 by Mega Müzik on CD.
The album focuses on percussion as its main axis: its tracks combine hand drums with folk-inspired and country rhythms, creating a repertoire where rhythmic patterns and percussion instruments predominate. The cover reinforces this idea with the image of a musician playing drums against a dark and orange background.
The CD edition consists of a single disc. Publication data place the origin of the edition in Turkey, where the album appeared through the Mega Müzik label.
It will appeal to listeners of folk and country music and to those who enjoy recordings where acoustic percussion is the basis of the sound.
