«Passenger 57» is the original soundtrack album of the eponymous film, composed and arranged by Stanley Clarke and released by Epic on CD in 1992.
The music alternates jazz, blues and orchestral suspense textures to reflect the tension of an aerial hijacking. Standouts include «Lookin' Good (Cutter's Theme)», «Lisa» and «Cruisin'», with electric rhythm section, saxophone and vocal moments.
The European edition with reference 472601 2 offers 18 tracks, mostly instrumental, with Gerald Albright, John Robinson and George Duke among the musicians.
For fans of Stanley Clarke's bass and of 1990s action soundtracks.
