«One-Two Punch» is the studio album by Liquid Soul, released in 2006 on Telarc Jazz, on CD.
The album combines jazz, funk, hip-hop and electronic elements with a prominent brass section and dynamic rhythms. Its cover, inspired by classic comics, reinforces that energetic and playful image, in a repertoire that moves between acid jazz and contemporary jazz fusion, with the characteristic stamp of the band led by Mars Williams.
Single CD (catalogue no. CD-83633) in its US edition; the cover includes the mention 'Liquid Soldier Issue No. 5'.
For fans of acid jazz, jazz-funk and the fusion of jazz with hip-hop.
