«Olè Barcelona» is the single by the duo Frank & Ronald, released in 1999 on CD Single.
A festive and parodic track with a base of pop, schlager and europop: Frank and Ronald launch a football chant in honour of Barcelona, with a stadium atmosphere and caricatural humour. The cover reinforces this idea by showing the two singers as cartoons with sunglasses, polo shirts and a ball in the foreground.
Edition with catalogue number BUCS 99201, released in the Netherlands and linked to the labels Bunny Music, Q Point, Dino Music and Sentinel.
Will appeal to collectors of late-nineties European pop and fans of festive music with a football theme.
