«Offices du Dimanche» is the album by the Choir of the Monks of Keur Moussa Abbey (Senegal), released in 1994 by Art et Musique as a double CD.
The recording reproduces the Sunday offices sung by the monastic community of Keur Moussa, in Senegal, with traditional instruments such as the kora and the xalam. Across its two CDs, the chants of the various liturgical hours of Sunday follow one another, from first vespers to second vespers, in a choral performance that unites Benedictine spirituality and African music.
Double CD edition with references KM 04 and KM 05. The language of the edition is French and the cover shows the monks outdoors with kora and xalam.
For listeners of sacred and liturgical music and for collectors of monastic recordings and African choral repertoires.
