«Off The Beaten Track» is the folk album by Matthew McDaid, released in 2017 by Great Canyon Records, on CD.
The album is rooted in folk and roots music, with echoes of Spanish folklore and other world traditions. The abstract cover, with a golden compass, watercolour stains and the letters of the cardinal points, accompanies a title that evokes a sonic journey along little-travelled paths away from the conventional.
Spanish edition on a single CD, with catalogue number GCR003-CD, released on 15 September 2017.
For fans of folk and Spanish and international roots music.
