«O Samba: A Voz E O Violao» is the acoustic samba album by Nélio Moreno, released in 2002 by Ais on CD.
It brings together a repertoire of samba performed in acoustic format: Nélio Moreno's voice and the acoustic guitar are the centre of each track, showing the Brazilian roots of the genre with an intimate, stripped-down sound.
Released on 28 February 2002 by the label Ais. The cover presents it as part of the «Acústico» collection, volume 1.
For listeners of Brazilian music and samba looking for a repertoire performed with only voice and acoustic guitar.
