«O niño do sol» is the album by Milladoiro, released in 2002 by Cormoran on CD.
The album brings together nine traditional Galician songs and four compositions by Milladoiro. It features Laura Amado on «Os ollos de Andrea» and the voice of Faustino Santalices, rescued from a 1949 recording, on «Alalá das Mariñas». The extra track «Millworker», by James Taylor, also appears.
Recorded between March and April 2002 at Cormoran studios in Galicia, with José M. Tasende as sound engineer.
This record is aimed at fans of Galician folk and Celtic music, as well as followers of Milladoiro.
