«Mystères» is the album by the Bulgarian State Female Choir with Sarband, released in 1991 by Jaro Medien on CD.
Mystères brings together the Bulgarian State Female Choir with Sarband in a crossover between traditional Bulgarian vocal music and medieval and folk repertoire. The female choral textures, with their characteristic harmonies, are combined with instruments and arrangements that evoke ancient sonorities, in a programme that highlights the links between oral traditions and historical music.
Mystères was released in Spain with catalogue number 9G0424 and is listed under classical, folk, traditional and world music styles.
Mystères is suitable for fans of world music, folklore and female vocal harmonies, with an interest in medieval sonorities.
