«Motives For Writing» is the album by Wim Mertens, released in 1991 by Gasa and Les Disques Du Crépuscule on CD.
The music of «Motives For Writing» moves between modern classical music and minimalism, with electronic textures and a sober, reiterative instrumental approach. It is a sample of the contemplative style that characterises Wim Mertens in the early nineties.
This Spanish edition is the CD reissue of the album, with catalogue code 9031-78743-2.
A work for those interested in contemporary classical music and in the electronic minimalism of the nineties.
