«Mi Amigo El Príncipe» is Cristian Castro's tribute album to José José, released by Universal Music Latino in 2011, in a deluxe CD + DVD edition.
Second instalment of Cristian Castro's homage to José José, «El Príncipe de la Canción». The album reinterprets great romantic hits that José José popularised in the 1970s and 1980s, with arrangements that preserve the original essence and a contemporary finish. It includes versions such as «Lo dudo», first single, and «Buenos días amor».
Deluxe 2-disc edition: audio CD and DVD-Video. The cover subtitle reads «La historia continúa: Viva el Príncipe. Vol. II», referring to the continuation of his previous tribute album.
For fans of Cristian Castro, José José and the romantic ballad in Spanish.
