«Message From The Country» is the remastered CD reissue of the album by The Move, released by Parlophone in 2005.
The album was originally released in 1971, when The Move was already a trio and Jeff Lynne stood out as songwriter and vocalist. It blends rock, pop, psychedelia, country and doo wop, with a varied sound that anticipates Electric Light Orchestra. It includes tracks such as «The Minister», «California Man» and «Do Ya».
It brings together 19 tracks: the original album, singles from the period and alternate and unreleased takes, with a total running time of 73 minutes.
For fans of rock, psychedelia and seventies pop, with particular interest in the origins of Electric Light Orchestra.
