«Melting Pot» is the album by Asian Project, released in 1997 by Blanco Y Negro on CD.
Asian Project blends electronic music with folk, world and country textures in a sound close to new age. The record develops enveloping atmospheres with ethnic-style arrangements, in line with the aesthetic of its cover: a central Hindu deity over a golden and purple mandala. It is presented as a proposal «for your senses».
Spanish edition on CD with catalogue number CXCD 211. Production credits include Konga Music, GEMA O.D., Aurha Studios, Capital Sound Studios, Actual Music S.L. and Blanco Y Negro Music, S.A.
Suitable for listeners of new age and ethnic fusion seeking relaxed music with folk roots and electronic ambience.
