«Loud, Fast Ramones: Their Toughest Hits» is the compilation album by Ramones, released in 2002 by Rhino, on CD.
A compilation bringing together twenty-nine tracks from Ramones' career, from their early punk rock anthems to later stages. It includes such representative pieces as «Blitzkrieg Bop», «Beat on the Brat» and «I Wanna Be Sedated», with the fast, raw and melodic sound that defined the band.
The compilation was prepared by Johnny Ramone and includes original recordings produced among others by Craig Leon, Tony Bongiovi and Phil Speyer.
It serves both for those approaching Ramones for the first time and for followers looking for a review of their most energetic classics.
