«Los Impossibles» is the album by L'Arpeggiata and Christina Pluhar, released in 2006 on Naïve, on CD.
The album brings Baroque and Renaissance repertoire closer to popular music from Spain, Mexico and Portugal. It combines jácara, fandango, villancico and other ancient forms with the voices of The King's Singers and the flamenco guitar of Pepe Habichuela. Among others, «La Llorona», «Fandango» and «Jácaras» are heard.
The edition includes 15 tracks and a bonus DVD with the documentary «Rencontres improbables», directed by Olivier Simonnet.
For early and classical music listeners interested in Baroque versions with a popular and flamenco feel.
