«Los Años Bárbaros» is the soundtrack of the Spanish film of the same name directed by Fernando Colomo, released on CD by EMI/Virgin in 1998.
The CD brings together the music that accompanies the film's narration and builds a sonic portrait of Spain in the late 1940s. The repertoire combines Latin rhythms and pop, with pieces that reinforce the period setting and underscore the tone of the scenes.
