«Les îles de la mémoire» is the album by Dan Ar Braz, released in 1992 by Keltia Musique, on CD.
The album brings together instrumental Celtic folk pieces in which Dan Ar Braz combines Breton tradition with contemporary arrangements. Its sound, serene and melancholic, creates an evocative and intimate atmosphere, closely tied to the landscapes of Brittany. The cover, showing the musician in an empty café, reinforces that contemplative air.
French edition of a record, with catalogue number KMCD 32; the cover also features the English title 'Islands of Memories'.
For listeners of Celtic folk and instrumental music, especially those interested in the Breton repertoire of the 1990s.
