«Legalize It» is Peter Tosh's solo debut album, released by Sony Music on CD.
After leaving The Wailers, Peter Tosh presents his roots reggae with a message of social vindication and political criticism from the Jamaican perspective of the seventies. The cover, showing the artist amid vegetation and wavy Rastafarian-coloured lines, reinforces that intention.
The recording is in English. The album originally appeared in 1976 and this edition is dated 1987.
For collectors of the genre and those who followed Peter Tosh's solo career.
