«Ladyshave Part 1» is the maxi single by Gus Gus, released in 1999 by 4AD on CD.
The maxi single «Ladyshave Part 1» presents «Ladyshave», an electronic track with a deep bassline that moves between leftfield, deep house and trip hop. The lyrics of «Ladyshave», printed on the cover, evoke confusion and distance; amid everyday images, they return again and again to the razor as a reminder of the other person.
CD1 edition with a single disc; the cover reproduces the lyrics of «Ladyshave» and credits the group as gusGus.
For fans of Gus Gus and for those seeking late-90s club electronics with nods to trip hop and deep house.
