«La Double Vie de Véronique» is the soundtrack album by Zbigniew Preisner, released in 1997 by Sideral on CD.
Original soundtrack composed by Zbigniew Preisner for the film by Krzysztof Kieślowski starring Irène Jacob. The music combines a luminous opening theme with pieces of a melancholic and introspective character, and accompanies the story of two young women, one French and one Polish, whose lives seem to resonate with each other. A score that sustains the contemplative tone of the film.
Also known by its English title, The Double Life of Veronika.
For lovers of auteur cinema, melancholic soundtracks and the music of Zbigniew Preisner.
