Selection of the most celebrated numbers from Puccini's opera, which portrays the love between the poet Rodolfo and the seamstress Mimì in bohemian 19th-century Paris. Includes pieces such as «Che gelida manina», «O soave fanciulla» and Musetta's waltz «Quando me'n vo'».
Recording made in Bratislava in 1990 by the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Slovak Philharmonic Choir under the direction of Will Humburg, with Luba Orgonasova (Mimì), Jonathan Welch (Rodolfo) and Carmen Gonzales (Musetta).
