«Jazz at Massey Hall» is the live jazz album by The Quintet (Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, Charles Mingus and Max Roach), released on CD.
It records the concert of 15 May 1953 at Massey Hall in Toronto, the only documented session of this complete quintet. It is also the last recording meeting of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. The programme includes bop classics such as 'Perdido', 'Salt Peanuts' and 'A Night in Tunisia'.
CD edition of a record with six tracks, remastered at 20 bits and 47 minutes in length. It was released in 2001 by Fantasy within the Original Jazz Classics series.
