«It's A Blue World» is the compilation album by Ella Fitzgerald released on CD by Belvedere Music.
The disc brings together recordings by the American singer within classic jazz and swing, with orchestral arrangements and ballads. It includes tracks such as «My Blue Heaven» and «It's A Blue World», which showcase her elegant phrasing and mastery of swing. Conceived as a collection of standards, it reflects the repertoire she popularised live during the central decades of the 20th century.
Compilation originally released in 1989 and linked to the Drive and Belvedere Music labels, with production by Baur Music and digital mastering (ADD).
For listeners wanting an introduction to the classic songbook in Ella Fitzgerald's voice; also appeals to collectors of late-1980s European jazz editions.
