«Interpreta a Gardel» is the album by Quinteto Argentino de Cuerdas, released by Mis on CD.
The Quinteto Argentino de Cuerdas recreates with five instrumentalists a selection of tangos associated with Carlos Gardel in instrumental versions for string ensemble. The album transfers this repertoire to the chamber register and preserves the character of the tango with the quintet's own arrangements.
The album falls within traditional and world music and is presented as a CD with one disc.
