«Inertia» is the debut album by alternative rock band The Exies, released in 2003 by EMI on CD.
The Exies' debut combines dense guitars with immediate melodies and introspective lyrics, in a sound close to pop rock. Songs like «My Goddess», «Without» and «Can't Relate» condense that mix of power and hook, with choruses that invite repetition.
Released on 7 January 2003 in enhanced edition (Enhanced CD); includes a video track of «My Goddess» in addition to the audio cuts.
For those seeking a guitar record with strong choruses within early-2000s pop rock.
