«Impressions of Africa» is an album of traditional and world music from the World Flavours series, released in 2002 by Balance & Harmony on CD.
Atmospheric and traditional compositions that transport the listener to the landscapes and sounds of Africa, within the World Flavours series, aimed at spreading music from different cultures. The selection seeks to reflect the cultural diversity of the continent through evocative pieces.
The cover combines the portrait of an African woman with traditional jewellery and headdress and a photograph of a savannah at sunset with acacias.
For fans of traditional and world music and for those seeking a first approach to African sounds.
