«Imperial Letters of Protection» is the album by Nephlim Modulation Systems (NMS), released in 2005 by Big Dada Recordings, on CD.
The album fuses electronics and hip hop from drum and bass and boom bap foundations, with abstract arrangements and a conscious orientation. The cover, a classical painting overflown by ships and topped with a blue globe, translates into images the crossover between history, technology and science fiction that defines the work.
Released in the UK under the labels Big Dada Recordings and Vital; reference BDCD085.
For listeners of abstract electronics, drum and bass and socially conscious hip hop.
