«Imeneo, HWV 41» is the baroque opera by George Frideric Handel, recorded in 1986 and released by Brilliant Classics on double CD.
Baroque opera in three acts (1740) telling the story of Imeneo, Rosmene, Tirinto, Clomiri and Argenio: a love conflict in which Rosmene must choose between two suitors. It alternates arias and recitatives with choral passages. The cast includes John Ostendorf, Julianne Baird, D'Anna Fortunato, Beverly Hoch and Jan Opalach.
