«I Giorni» is a contemporary classical music album by composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi, released by Ponderosa on CD.
The album contains twelve pieces for solo piano, born from Einaudi's travels through Africa. In Mali, with kora virtuoso Toumani Diabate, he heard an ancient melody from the 13th century; from that experience come melancholic and introspective compositions, which the author defines as musical thought with a touch of spiritual embroidery.
