«Hopsadaddy» is the Nordic folk album by Habadekuk, released in 2010 by GO' Danish Folk Music on CD.
Hopsadaddy updates traditional Nordic music with big band energy: powerful brass sections, rhythmic fiddles and infectious grooves sit alongside accordion, trombone, saxophone, piano, guitar and double bass. Danish melodies are reimagined with arrangements close to folk rock and jazz, in a festive, danceable work.
The album was released in Denmark with catalogue number GO1710. The band won the Nordic folk music championship NORD '09.
For fans of Nordic folk and brass big bands.
