«Haydn: Streichquartette» is the album of Haydn string quartets released in 1989 by Deutsche Grammophon on CD.
The CD brings together three Haydn string quartets: «La Serenata» (Op. 3 No. 5), «La Broma» (Op. 33 No. 2) and «Las Quintas» (Op. 76 No. 2). These are three chamber works by the composer, identified by their nicknames and by the opus number on the cover.
The cover shows the equivalents of the term «string quartets» in English, German and French: «String Quartets», «Streichquartette» and «Quatuors à cordes».
