«Halalium» is the electronic album by U-Cef, released in 1999 by Apartment 22 on CD.
Electronica with Moroccan roots: presented on the back cover as a «Moroccan digitalizer», U-Cef deploys dub and drum'n'bass rhythms over downtempo textures and African folk airs. Includes tracks such as «Alalah Kawwaha», «Tagbody» and «Bonkula».
Single-disc edition released in the UK with catalogue number 22CD 002.
Will appeal to listeners of downtempo electronica and world music seeking fusion with African roots.
