«Guitar Noir» is the album by Steve Hackett, released in 1993 by Stephen Hackett Ltd., on CD.
«Guitar Noir» belongs to progressive rock and builds dark, introspective atmospheres in which Steve Hackett's guitar carries the melodic weight. The cover, with an abstracted portrait in blue and red tones, reinforces that nocturnal, painterly air.
The edition includes a single disc and bears the catalogue number PERM CD13, associated with the Permanent Records label.
Suitable for followers of Steve Hackett's solo career and of 1990s progressive rock.
