«Good Morning, Vietnam» is the original soundtrack of the eponymous film, a various-artists compilation released on CD by A&M Records in 1988.
The album brings together pop, rock and soul hits from the sixties featured in the film, including tracks such as «I Get Around» by The Beach Boys, «I Got You (I Feel Good)» by James Brown and «What a Wonderful World» by Louis Armstrong. The collection evokes the sonic atmosphere of the radio station that gives the film its title.
The catalogue number 396 969-2 identifies this edition of a record; the back cover indicates tracks in mono and stereo.
