«Generation Swine» is the studio album by Mötley Crüe, released in 1997 by Wea/Elektra Entertainment, on CD.
The record marks the return of Vince Neil to the lineup and shows Mötley Crüe between hard rock and more experimental territory, with a less glam tone than on their earlier work. Critics received it with mixed opinions, though the work is valued as an evolutionary step in the group's discography.
The CD contains 13 songs on a single disc, including «Brandon» and «Generation Swine»; it went on sale on 13 June 1997.
For fans of Mötley Crüe and nineties hard rock, interested in the Vince Neil era and a sound less glam than that of the early albums.
