«G Force» is the album by Kenny G, released in 1988 on Arista, on CD.
The album is led by Kenny G's saxophone and blends the fluidity of smooth jazz with funk rhythms and synthesizers, a sound representative of late-eighties pop-jazz. Relaxed melodies sit alongside rhythmic tracks without losing the saxophonist's character.
Edition for the UK and Europe on one disc; total running time, 38 minutes; genres: electronic and jazz.
For fans of smooth jazz and fusion jazz, especially those who appreciate Kenny G's saxophone and eighties pop.
