«From Havana with Love» is the live album by Cuban band Irakere, released in 1994 by West Wind on CD.
Recorded live in Belgrade in November 1978, this Afro-Cuban jazz album captures Irakere under the direction of Chucho Valdés, with Arturo Sandoval and Paquito D'Rivera, in a fusion of traditional Cuban rhythms with jazz and rock. Highlights of the repertoire include «Misa Negra» and «Ella», two representative pieces of that blend.
The CD is a single disc, with catalogue number WWL 2223; the album falls within Afro-Cuban jazz and Latin jazz.
For fans of Afro-Cuban jazz and collectors of Cuban music, as well as for those who follow the work of Irakere.
