«From Dizzy to Miles» is the Charlie Parker compilation, released in 1996 by Giants of Jazz, on CD.
A compilation of 22 Charlie Parker recordings from 1945 to 1953, showing him in various line-ups: with Dizzy Gillespie's sextet, in early sessions led by Miles Davis, under his own name, and even as a tenor in a 1947 Davis All-Stars session.
Aimed at jazz and bebop listeners who want to explore Charlie Parker's collaborations with Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis.
