«Freaks & Icons» is the debut album by dZihan & Kamien, released in 2000 by MSI Music/Super D on CD.
The Austrian duo blends downtempo and nu-jazz with electronic rhythms, jazz arrangements and organic textures. Its thirteen tracks, cinematic in feel and unhurried in tempo, make for an elegant record that moves between the club and relaxed listening, with the polished production typical of European electronic music in 2000.
The album was released on CD on 8 May 2000 and the sleeve notes list English as the language of the edition.
For those who enjoy downtempo, nu-jazz and atmospheric electronic music from the early 2000s.
