«Franck/Bach» is the piano album by Artur Rubinstein featuring works by Franck, Bach-Busoni and Liszt, released in 1995 on the Gold Seal label on CD.
The programme brings together three major works of the piano repertoire: the Prelude, Chorale and Fugue by César Franck, Bach's Chaconne in the transcription by Ferruccio Busoni, and the Sonata in B minor by Franz Liszt. Rubinstein performs them with clear phrasing and great expressive intensity, without diluting the distinct character of each composer.
Aimed at classical music enthusiasts, especially those interested in piano works from the Romantic repertoire.
