«Francesco Manfredini: 12 Concerti, Op. 3» is the classical music album by Les Amis de Philippe with Ludger Rémy, released in 2000 by CPO, on CD.
The album brings together Manfredini's twelve Baroque concertos from Opus 3 in a period-instrument recording conducted by Ludger Rémy. It alternates concertos for strings, for solo violin and short pieces, with echoes of Vivaldi and Torelli. Highlights include Concerto XII, with its «Pastorale per il Santissimo Natale», and concerti VIII and X.
The recording was made at the Sendesaal of Radio Bremen from 30 August to 4 September 1998 and on 7 May 1999. The single CD (cpo 999 638-2) has 78'42 of music.
For fans of the Italian Baroque repertoire and historically informed performances on original instruments.
