«Five Violin Concertos» is the album by Giuseppe Tartini featuring five violin concertos, released in 2003 by Regis Records on CD.
A 1996 recording bringing together five violin concertos by Tartini, in which soloist Gordan Nikolitch dialogues with the Orchestre d'Auvergne conducted by Arie Van Beek. The interpretation highlights the dance-like character of the outer movements and the expressiveness of the slow ones; the Concerto in D major D.15 and the one in A minor D.115 stand out.
DDD recording from 1996, released by Regis Records with catalogue number RRC 1157; total duration: 76:09.
According to the Gramophone review quoted on the back cover, it is recommended both for specialists and for listeners with broader interests.
