«Finest Hour» is a compilation by American jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis, released in 2000 by Verve, on CD.
The CD brings together eighteen recordings by the Ramsey Lewis Trio, a selection of their jazz, soul and funk tracks from the sixties. It includes «The 'In' Crowd», which won a Grammy in 1966 for Best Jazz Performance by a Small Group, along with «Hang On Sloopy», «Wade in the Water» and «Soul Man».
The compilation belongs to Verve's Finest Hour series and includes original recordings produced by Esmond Edwards and Jack Tracy, among others.
