«Elvis Goes Baroque» is the album by Peter Breiner And His Orchestra, released in 1995 on Naxos, on CD.
Peter Breiner's orchestra reinterprets some of Elvis Presley's best-known songs with baroque ornamentation, turning his pop repertoire into pieces close to classical music. The cover, with four pop-art portraits of the singer, reinforces the contrast between the two aesthetics.
The catalogue number is 8.990 054 F, corresponding to a German CD edition of the classical genre.
For fans of Elvis Presley and classical music who want to hear his songs in orchestral versions in a baroque style.
