«Elevator» is the album by Canadian indie rock band Hot Hot Heat, released in 2005 by Sire on CD.
The album moves between indie rock and new wave, with fast, danceable songs full of melodic hooks. Among its standout tracks are the singles «Goodnight Goodnight» and «Middle of Nowhere», and also «Jingle Jangle». The cover, with red hands directing figures like puppets, reinforces that playful and ironic tone.
It corresponds to a 15-track CD edition, produced and mixed by D. Sardy, with Craig Aaronson on A&R duties.
Aimed at indie rock and new wave fans, with a danceable and carefree touch.
